Politically correct term for stepchildren
Interesting question, considering a recent forum discussion about the use of the abbreviation skids.
There are those who object to the term, mainly biological mothers.
Stepmothers on the other hand do not mean to offend my using the abbreviations, but is a very quick way to talk about their stepchildren on online support groups.
What are your thoughts?
